Welcome to Anderson Baptist Youth Page. My name is Tom ( FOOT ) Collins. I was called to the youth ministry about 9 years ago. I was saved in 1976 at age 12 and at age 15 - 18 worked with young children. then I strayed away from God. In 1998 God called me to do his work with youth at Anderson where the youth group ages 12 - 18 grew from 2 to average of 35 on Wed. night in a town of 300 people. 2003 I decided to leave the Church on my own and not a calling from God. That didn't work out because I knew what God was calling me to do. In 2004 I went back and was ask very soon to take back over as youth minister. I prayed and God told me to do it so I started again, this time with one child. It's been about a year now and we have grown to about 18 and still growing. I teach only from the bible.
